                                                    repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

HIS COMMANDS - Go make disciples of all nations Baptize them in the name of Father,
the Son, and the Holy Spirit; teach them all that He commanded us.

HIS PROMISE – He would always be with us, even to the end of the age.

CALVARY BIBLE CHAPEL RESPONDS TO THESE MANDATES IN THE
FOLLOWING WAYS.

*****************************************************

MAINTAINING A MISSION’S BOARD.

The members of this board are volunteers from the CBC congregation.
They are committed to become knowledgeable about global missions through
seminars, literature, and contacts with other churches and mission agencies.

It is the responsibility of the Mission Board to maintain, create, and direct all mission
activity within the church subject to the approval of the CBC Board of Directors and the Senior Pastor.

SENDING AND SUPPORTING MISSIONARIES

We support over 20 missionaries on a regular basis. Our missionaries work in foreign fields,
in the states and also locally. The Mission Board is responsible to choose which missions we
as a church agree to support and oversees their activities and provide for their personal care and needs.

EDUCATING AND INFORMING CBC PEOPLE CONCERNING MISSIONS

We have a mission conference during the month of October each year. It is a time when the whole church
focuses on our various mission programs and gets to know our missionaries and their work.

We arrange for Short Term Mission Trips from time to time and encourage our people to participate in these hands on experience.

We encourage our people to listen to the Holy Spirit if they believe they are being called to go to the mission field.
The pastors and the mission board will make every effort to help them realize their calling.

All departments are expected to incorporate the importance of evangelism and missions in their regular activities.
The pastors often include the mission mandate as found in the gospel in their messages.

EXPECTING OUR PEOPLE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

We ask our members to contribute to the support of our missionaries through a faith promise
which is made each year at our mission conference.
We also expect all members to be faithful in praying for our missionaries.

We ask all members to be supportive of all the activities which benefit our missionaries.
We especially ask all members to make an effort to get to know each missionary and their activities.

We would like all members to participate in fund raising projects. Currently we are asking our members
to use Kroger gift cards when they purchase their groceries. They are available through our Mission Board,
They are easy to use, cost nothing more than the price of their groceries, and puts dollars into our short term mission funding program.

We also give our members an opportunity to make a sacrificial offering of $1.00 each week.
All of the money collected in this offering goes entirely to meeting the special needs of our missionaries.
